Do explosions really need dramatic narration?

SpikeTV seems to think so. You know what? Maybe they do. Maybe explosions are somehow better when the suspense is built up; when they are given context and deeper meaning in a world of soundbites and instant gratification. We can start a movement back to simpler times, when explosions MEANT something. Who’s with me?!
